Clinical Test Engineer / ScanOps Specialist
The Opportunity
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to clearly and comprehensively see our arm’s vasculature without an invasive device or dye? As if you had internal vision? Imagine how much easier that would make vascular access procedures, diagnostic intervention and surgical procedures? At Vexev, we’ve created the technology to do just that. We have invented the first-ever 3D, tomographic imaging device, offering an entirely new perspective on one of the body’s most vital systems.
Our device, the VxWave, has just completed a successful five month clinical trial in the USA, and has proven that our hard work and innovation could save lives. To continue this trajectory, we are on the hunt for a go-getter who takes initiative, understands complex solutions and simplifies them. In this role, you will be leading the ‘optimised scanning project’, where we test new software and hardware features for reliability, quality, efficiency and effectiveness.
You will be responsible for leading ‘Scanning Ops’, which includes scanning the arms of internal and external participants, documenting, collating and analysing data to show what works and what doesn't, troubleshooting failures, component testing to ensure best outcome possible, all while being instrumental for connecting and communicating information between people and company-wide projects.
Perhaps, you'll have an engineering, physics, biomedical or testing background, but what truly matters is your positive attitude, willingness and ability to rapidly learn, and apply your meticulous attention to detail. What you will bring to the team is your unwavering drive for excellent results, with the resilience to navigate complex problems, turning them into innovative solutions you can own. If this sounds like you - we want you on our team!
Working at Vexev
At Vexev we value creativity and collaboration above all else. There is no dress code, no meetings that don’t make sense, email is rarely used internally and you set your own start and finish time.

Our expansive HQ is located in Surry Hills - a 5 minute walk from Central station, and close-by to many great cafe’s, sandwich shops, fashion outlets and bars. Working at Vexev, you will find yourself in an office with plenty of space, natural sunlight, plants and fresh air throughout - as well as end of trip facilities (showers, bicycle storage, lockers etc) and a huge rooftop for team lunches and gatherings.
Our journey is supported by leading Australian and US venture capital firms, meaning you will experience what it’s like to be in the early stages of a company with exponential potential, while closely collaborating with the top minds our industry has to offer.
